New Library and Cultural Center for the Irpin Society of Poets and Writers

Requirements

The building of the current Library of the Irpin Society of Poets and Writers was completely destroyed as a result of the invasion of Irpin by the Russian army. As a result of the above, the authorities of the City of Irpin have asked us to develop an architectural proposal in a space in the Parque de los Escritores y Poetas very close to the edge of the Irpin River.

For such effects, our intention is, taking into account all the experience developed for the architectural ideation of the conceptual spaces elaborated for the project of the Memorial and the Public Library, especially of the latter, to develop a new space where the concepts of transparency , fluidity, continuity, spatial accessibility and the blurring of the spatial limits between the different programs, the minimal use of the solid wall and the fluid interrelation between the exterior of the park and the interior of the new library, are maximized throughout its development .
